SimCity 4 is a City building Simulator from Maxis. It is the fourth game in the series and  the most popular even after 6 years from release date.

In SimCity 4 users create and build a city from scratch using the available tools given by the games. SimCity 4 base game came with very limited transport options and wasn't muchly favoured until the release of SimCity 4: Rush hour which advanced the game even more by giving users a whole range of transport options.

From the start of SimCity 4, users have been creating mods for the games and this is one of the reasons why the game had survived so long because of its mass modding.
